Winter Dehydration… Taking care of the inside for a beautiful outside

Cold-weather/Winter dehydration is REAL!

Cole weather

As the temps dip it’s not uncommon to feel less thirsty, thus we might not drink enough fluids for our bodies to function at peak performance.

Because water makes up approximately 60-70% of our bodies, staying hydrated, especially with drier indoor heating, is of utmost importance.

Every time we sweat, urinate, or have a bowel movement, water is lost.

It’s harder to notice when you’re sweating during the colder months, so pay attention when you’re bundled up. Even when we’re not sweating, we lose water through our skin and drier indoor air causes winter dehydration without even noticing.

I’d like to share some homemade drinks that will definitely help keep you hydrated any time of year but particularly during the winter months.

These drinks not only work but are also pretty delicious and are shared by mommypotamus.com. Check her out for more delicious drinks.
